McAbee and McAbee continue to dominate on Clear Lake

LAKE PORT--Randy McAbee Jr. & McAbee Senior continue to dominate anglers on Clear Lake in October. Although the anglers are tight lipped on day 1 of the 2-day WON BASS Team Championship, it's been said that the super team has been spotted cranking the big bass with light line and deep running crank baits. The McAbee's brought to the scales an impressive 29.60 bag and the father-son team has won numerous bass boats on Clear Lake in October. 

Successful anglers that would talk about their patterns, are drop shotting and throwing jigs on rock piles. The big bass of the tournament a 10.93 largemouth was caught by Jim Dowdy who is teamed up with Ross England. Ross England is one of the top guides on Clear Lake and the team is in 2nd place with 27.60 pounds.
