This was our third event for the Colorado River Region. The anglers were greeted with a beautiful calm day around 75 degree. First place in the event for back to back wins was the team of Justin Kerr and John Perkins with a mixed bag of of largemouth and smallmouth for 23.37 pounds and big fish of the event with a 5.25 largemouth. The team reported catching their fish mostly on reactions baits in the lake. Second place was the team of Billy Skinner and Shaun Bailey weighing in four largemouth and one smallmouth for 19.56 and third big fish with a 4.55. Billy and Shaun have now taken over the lead in the angler of the year points after three events. Third place in the event was the team of Roy Hawk and Mark White also with a mixed bag of largemouth and smallmouth for 18.22. Second place big fish in the event went to the team of Danny Locatis and Tim Price with a 5.01 Largemouth. The next event will be at Lake Martinez 2-4-2012.
