General
information questions:
How
do you measure fish? What board do you use?
We
measure fish on a flat board ( I would recommend the Golden Rule
board as the most accurate on the market, but check its measurements
before you use it), lying flat with the MOUTH OPEN. We do move the
tail to try and make it touch. We DO NOT hang the fish vertical.
On some lakes with special size limits we may have to measure the
fish differently due to F&G regulations; i.e. Lake Havasu is
13" with the MOUTH CLOSED on a flat board. Any lake that has
a size limit longer than 13" will also have to measure MOUTH
CLOSED.
