Mokuahi & CamdenWin Again

Temps in the mid 80s and light winds brought great fishing conditions to the 4th event of the season at the Nevada Region Teams at Callville bay on lake Mead June 12th. The bite was great with most teams catching limits before 9am and culling fish throughout the day. Most bites came in shallow water (less than 8 ft) on jigs and reaction baits. Though weights weren't huge most anglers were excited with the numbers of bass they caught over the course of the day. One angler commented....."This years US Open is gonna be a great event". good fishing matched with the new launch ramp facilities at Callville Bay should bring smiles to most anglers faces.

Raffle prizes valued over $200.00 were given away during the awards. The next Nevada region event is on lake Mohave June 26th ....see you there!

1st place team of Moses Mokuahi & Stephen Camden proved they are the team to beat. They won the last event here back in February with a huge 20.00 lb sack. This time around the post spawn bite lightened the bags but their bag weighing 13.68 was plenty big enough to capture the win and 2nd place big bass weighing 3.91 Good for a $1302.00 paypal. Good Job Guys....thats two in a row!!!	The 2nd place Team of Elmer & Dwayne Kurr were waiting for the summer bite to kick in and they proved this is their time of year with a nice bag weighing 12.86 lbs. and the biggest bass of the event, a 4.46 lb kicker. Good for a $1006.00 payday. Congrats!
